This is also demonstrated when moving drones can hit you with their plasma guns while flying above your head. UNSC and Covenant snipers alike can shoot their targets reliably from over a thousand paces away, no matter how fast the target is moving.

They are always in military positions and can shoot with abnormal accuracy. When equipped with an energy sword, it seems like a well-trained human, brute, or elite could make work of the average Jedi.Īside from this, all soldiers, including the lowest grunts that are used as cannon fodder, seem to be at least decently trained. Certain Brutes and Elites are also shown to do this. The main antagonist, Masterchief, is shown to on multiple occasions take on small armies alone. They were trained to pilot any vehicle, be it land, air, or sea, and were all weapon experts. Halo's SPARTANS formed the backbone of the UNSC military. In this category, I think we'll have to give it to Star Wars by a long shot. The Yuuzhan Vong, a race from the outside of the galaxy, will not be present in this war as they are from another galaxy. The sheer number of these can prove a match to any fictional army. Also, they can clone thousands of troopers and manufacture millions of droids.

Their numbers are spread heavily throughout the entire galaxy, with some even having permanent residency in planetary orbit. Unlike Halo, there are countless species in Star Wars. Each of these species in their prime spread across several worlds, making their numbers very large. In the halo franchise, there are a total of nine species, listed in order as of the species' physical power: the Mgalekgolo (hunters), the Jiralihae (brutes), the Sangheili (elites), the Humans, the Forerunners, the San' Shyuum (prophets), the Kig-Yar (jackals), the Yanme'e (drones), and the Unggoy (grunts), a few more if you include the Prometheans and the Flood. The question is, if put in a fair fight, which of these two universes would prevail against the other? It's the perfect matchup: one of the most famous sci-fi movie series against one of the most famous sci-fi videogame series.
